The Brake Pedal
If the instructor needs to slow down or stop the car, they can press the dual control brake pedal on their side. This will engage the vehicle’s braking system just like the primary brake.

For manual vehicles, the instructor also has access to a clutch pedal. This allows them to intervene and change gears or prevent stalling if necessary.
The Accelerator Pedal (Automatic Cars)
